National Park Monte Sibilla (Pictured below)
This picturesque mountaintop is situated on the eastern edge of Umbria within the National Park that takes it’s namesake. A treeless landscape allows for unparalleled views of the horizon and surrounding mountains that range up to 8000 ft in elevation. Historic Tour of Assisi

A storied town with Roman ruins dating back to 77 BC and architectural marvels carved from the nearby limestone of the Apennine mountains. This town is also the birth place of St. Francis of Assisi, the national saint of Italy and founder of the Order of Friars Minor. https://www.visit-assisi.it/en/

Cascata delle Marmore

A marvel of early engineering, this waterfall was initially created by the Romans in 271 BC and remains the largest man made waterfall in the world. Located in the southern portion of Umbria near the city of Terni, this waterfall powers nearby electric powerplants and is fed by a reservoir from the nearby Piediluco Lake (which also offers incredible hiking experiences). https://www.cascatadellemarmore.info/
